About Me

I graduated from UCSD before receiving my J.D. in Criminal Law from UC Davis King Hall. As a lawyer and educator, I have always been intensely passionate about helping students thrive as learners while becoming aware of their unique strengths, aspirations, and intellectual curiosities to positively impact the world. While at UCSD, I was selected to be a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Since my days as an undergrad, I have continued to work as a tutor in underprivileged areas. I believe part of my job as a tutor is to focus not only on high school and college academia, but to also help a student explore their passions and what they wish to get out of their college. Through my unique and holistic approach to chemistry and law, I have helped innumerable high school and college students improve their SAT 2 Chemistry scores, AP Chemistry scores, and grades in high school Chemistry. I consistently scored in the 99th percentile in all Chemistry standardized tests including the SAT 2 and AP Chemistry. I have mastered the art of imparting my test-taking skills to my students. With just four sessions of tutoring, each of my students has improved their grades at least 10%. I love to see my students meet their goals and believe that learning is not just about grades. Learning is a life-long process and must be exciting and tailored to each individual's learning style. As an educator, I believe it is extremely important to focus not only on getting in to college, but to also explore what a student wishes to get out of college and how they wish to change the world. Being a tutor lets me inspire other people to find the best within themselves.
